It’s Pride month, and one of the things we’re most proud of is all that we have accomplished with and for our communities, especially our work that focuses on listening to and lifting up underrepresented LGBTQ voices. For the last few years you've invested in this important work and helped us win on Give Out Day, the national day of giving to LGBTQ causes.
Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, Give Out Day has been moved to June (it’s June already, can you believe it?), and we can win again—with your help. If we get the most donors by 9p on Tuesday, June 30, we can win thousands in bonus prizes! You can give any amount and it will all go to keep up the momentum & movement building we’ve created WITH YOU over the last 10 years.

Color Bloq is a digital magazine that amplifies the voices & shares QTPOC (queer & trans people of color) experiences through written & visual mediums. They also host community events, such as panels & parties, to bring the community together & celebrate joy. They are also developing a fellowship program for QTPOC to provide mentorship on professional skills & networking. SF's Transgender District, the 1st legally recognized in the wold, was founded by 3 Black trans women to preserve the prevalent trans culture, & honor the trans led history rooted in the southeastern Tenderloin. The District creates a safe & empowering neighborhood by and for trans people through its 6 major initiatives: tenant protections, economic & workforce developments, arts & culture, cultural heritage conservation, cultural competency, & land use. Es el mes del Orgullo, y una de las cosas de las que estamos más orgullosos es todo lo que hemos logrado con y para nuestras comunidades, especialmente nuestros esfuerzos de escuchar y apoyar a voces subrepresentadas. Color Bloq es una revista digital que amplifica las voces y comparte experiencias QTPOC (gente de color que son LGBTQ) a través de medios escritos y visuales. También organizan eventos comunitarios, como paneles y fiestas, para unir a la comunidad y celebrar la alegría. También están desarrollando un programa de capacitación para QTPOC para proporcionar tutelaje con habilidades profesionales y de contactos sociales. El Distrito Transgénero de San Francisco, el 1ro reconocido legalmente en el mundo, fue fundado por 3 mujeres trans Negras para preservar la cultura trans prevalente y honrar la historia trans enraizada en el barrio Tenderloin del sudeste. El Distrito crea un vecindario seguro y fortalecedor por y para las personas trans a través de sus 6 iniciativas principales: protección de los inquilinos, desarrollo económico y laboral, arte y cultura, conservación del patrimonio cultural, competencia cultural y uso de la tierra. Usan eventos comunitarios, talleres, proyectos de narración de cuentos y más para continuar fortaleciendo y elevando a las personas trans y la comunidad. Visita: https://buff.ly/2YMUq9G
